Each industry has its own style, and a different approach is needed for all; language modifications, tone, formatting all need to be different for each.

I never use the same template, your documents will be unique to you. It makes more sense to me to complete the content and then create a format that flows nicely with that information, rather than shoehorn content into an existing template. I will take the time to understand your needs and personality, and make the document fit with those.
