1. Scope and Parties

1.1. This Refund Policy is an integral part of the Terms & Conditions of FreeSkillUp.com, operated by INTRAQUIZ LTD. It applies to all Users of the Platform, including Clients (Employers) and Experts (Freelancers).

1.2. FreeSkillUp provides a technology platform that enables Users to enter into service agreements. FreeSkillUp is not a party to these agreements and does not assume responsibility for the performance of services by Users.

2. General Principles

2.1. FreeSkillUp operates on a prepayment model: Clients pay for services in advance, and funds are securely held until the work is completed and explicitly approved by the Client.

2.2. Payment to the Expert is only released once the Client has confirmed that the work has been delivered in accordance with the agreed requirements.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

3.1. A refund request may be submitted if the delivered work materially fails to meet the terms of the order or service agreement. The request must be submitted within 14 calendar days after the Expert marks the work as completed.

3.2. Once a Client confirms completion and acceptance of the work, no refund is possible, except where required by applicable law (e.g., proven fraud, erroneous charges, or other violations).

4. Refund Procedure

4.1. To request a refund, Users must contact FreeSkillUp Support at [email protected] and provide:

  • Order ID
  • Description of the issue
  • Supporting evidence (communications, files, specifications).

4.2. If the matter cannot be resolved directly, Users may initiate a dispute via the Platform’s Resolution Center. FreeSkillUp may review evidence, mediate, and place funds on hold during the review process.

5. Processing and Timelines

5.1. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

5.2. Actual timing of receipt depends on the payment processor or financial institution.

5.3. If a refund cannot be processed to the original payment method, the User must notify Support no later than the date of the refund request. An alternative payout method may be arranged, subject to verification and compliance checks (KYC/AML).

6. Refund Holds, Reversals, and Compliance

6.1. Funds may be placed on temporary hold if a dispute, chargeback, or suspected violation occurs.

6.2. Refunds may be denied or delayed if:

  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation is detected;
  • The request violates Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations;
  • The User fails to provide required verification documents.

6.3. FreeSkillUp complies with card scheme and payment network rules (Visa, Mastercard, etc.). Violations may result in suspension and notification to regulatory authorities.

7. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • The Client has confirmed satisfactory completion of the work.
  • The refund request is submitted later than 14 days after completion.
  • The Client changes requirements after the Expert has delivered work according to the original order.
  • Insufficient or no evidence of non-compliance with the order.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1. FreeSkillUp encourages Users to resolve disputes through direct communication and good-faith negotiation.

8.2. If unsuccessful, Users may escalate disputes through the Platform’s Resolution Center. FreeSkillUp Support may mediate, though such mediation is non-binding.

8.3. If mediation fails, disputes may be referred to the competent courts of the United Kingdom in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

9.1. This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

9.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

9.3. Nothing in this Policy limits Users’ statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
